Nobody But Mongolians Can Protect Rangeland of Mongolia

According to Mongolian scientists’ calculation, 70-80% of the total territory of Mongolia is overgrazed. If we should take into account this figure even though it is somewhat doubtful, we will have no rangeland soon. It is a real danger.

Worldwide Disputed Nuclear Power Station Is Supported in Mongolia.

Mongolia has become a competitive field amongst many foreign countries interest and companies of other big nations, since it started to attract a world attention by its natural resource. Right after a contract for Oyutolgoi, signed yesterday /6 Oct 2009/, it follows a contract to use anthracite field in Tavantolgoi, and uranium field in Dornod aimag.

Do Parliament Members think the Water Sources are Sufficient in the Gobi Region?

Nowadays, the meaning of the phrase "water is treasure" is becoming clearer. Our country is situated far from nearest sea and has less water sources on the ground and underground compared with countries that has enough water sources. Our people range their life in line with water sources, for example: remote area can be utilized only in winter times because running water source is scarce there, only snow is available there. Elders said that they used to use mouthful water to wash their faces and hands, but in the contemporary world, we use many more litters of water for the same reason.
