Nobody But Mongolians Can Protect Rangeland of Mongolia
According to Mongolian scientists’ calculation, 70-80% of the total territory of Mongolia is overgrazed. If we should take into account this figure even though it is somewhat doubtful, we will have no rangeland soon. It is a real danger.
Baytskhandai, A Charitable And Environmental-Friendly Woman
Occasionally, I have met with Baytskhandai who is the head of “Mongolian Women Farmers' Association” in the Bayankhoshuu of Songino khairkhan district, by middle of the autumn. She is a middle-aged woman with quick movement who graduated from University of Agriculture, in 1990. In that period of time, her started to work as an instructor in the University. Then, she set up the NGO “Mongloian Women Farmers' Association” due to market demands in 1999, in order to help increase income of poor and unemployed people that live in her district. Her assistance reaches to each of the poor people in her district.

Do Parliament Members think the Water Sources are Sufficient in the Gobi Region?
Nowadays, the meaning of the phrase "water is treasure" is becoming clearer. Our country is situated far from nearest sea and has less water sources on the ground and underground compared with countries that has enough water sources. Our people range their life in line with water sources, for example: remote area can be utilized only in winter times because running water source is scarce there, only snow is available there. Elders said that they used to use mouthful water to wash their faces and hands, but in the contemporary world, we use many more litters of water for the same reason.
