We can pass the winter without any air pollution if we have cheaper energy resources

Hi, my name is Tamir. I'm 21 years old. This year i'm graduating University. I'm very interested in green energy

(Translated by Solongo. S)

maglev2I found Maglev wind turbine while i was exploring on Internet and trying to find good solution to reduce air pollution. I think there aren’t any better wind energy fan like this one.

Fan capacity is so good. High ranking officials say that they will take actions continuously to reduce air pollution, but i can’t see what steps they are taking. It is heard that once for a while that they provide people living in a ger with thick felt cover for ger and sell smokeless stove to stay warm.

Felt cover of the ger is not a bad idea, but stove and egg fuel (less smoke) is all lies. Results are too bad. How many years will it take for us to reduce air pollution of Ulaanbaatar? We already spent lots of money on it but not even a tiny improvement.

Air pollution has been increasing in last 5 years. In my opinion, it is better to spend huge amount of money on big project instead of spending much money on not so effective actions.

For example, if we decided to put wind turbine like Mgalev near the city, it will be 100% percent better than egg fuel.

I explain to you how to get rid of air pollution of Ulaanbaatar by using high efficient renewable energy based on my personal viewpoint. I hope that people who can speak English can probably learn more about renewable energy from Internet and share more ideas with each other. But for those who face language problem, I promise to publish more articles about this advanced technology.

Generally, Maglev turbines have so many advantages over conventional wind turbines.

It rotates vertically instead of horizontally so it doesn’t matter whatever direction the wind blows. It has a low risk to break in the strong wind.

It can still work even in a strong wind. The most important thing is the wind turbine uses full permanent magnet, not electro magnet. Therefore, it can run in 1.5 m/sec wind. Most fans can not run in such wind speeds. Also they could stay in wind exceeding 40m/s. The magnet cover of the wind turbine is not electric, it uses neodiuman magnet so it doesn’t need first eclectrical generator. This also helps reduce costs for repairment and increases lifespan of the generator.

Currently, the largest conventional wind turbines in the world produce only five megawatts of power. However, one large Maglev wind turbine could generate one megawatts of clean power, enough to supply energy to 750,000 homes.

Ulaanbaatar means “Red hero” but recent years it turned into “Smoky hero” as a consequence of smoke generated by 80,000 families living in ger districts. This wind turbine is more than enough for providing electricity for them

At the same time it can reduce electricity price sharply and if we do so energy making companies will not be closing down. Because they don’t have to pay for coal.

Anyway the wind is the renewable natural resource which will never finish. There will be almost no expenses, instead, we can take benefits from it. It is obvious that it needs a small repairment when it is broken. Luckily, it doesn’t break very often.

If we open only one wind power station in Ulaanbaatar, the price of the electricity will be drop greatly and every family will be happy to use electric heater. Also there will be no need to use fuel that makes smoke.

Moreover, to surprise you that this wind mill lasts for 500 years. It has 20 % more electricity production capacity comparing to normal wind mill and it generates power 50% cheaper.

I heard that this wind turbine was set up two years ago in America for experiment. China already has this wind turbine. Zhongke Hengyuan Energy Technology has invested 400 million yuan for building this facility in November 5th, 2007. In the US, these turbines are being manufactured by Arizona-based Maglev Wind Turbine Technologies.

This technology became famous after 1 kilowatt was equal to 1 cent in America. Of course we need money to have this turbine build in our country. I think the most people would say that let’s make this money from the mining income which is full of scandal today.

But I personally think we should choose another way to raise money for it. During the war, everyone gave support to their country as much as they could. Why don’t we do that now? If Mongolia remains the same in the future and if we do nothing to develop the country, Mongolia will turn into a country which face financial problems during the war time. We all know that Mongolian economy is falling but we can’t just watch it going down, we must try to change it.

Everything has changed. We don’t know what will happen in the future. So we should try the wind turbine. If we make this important contribution for our future, we can see our blue sky forever again and we benefit from the contribution we made. Also, the number of people who cut down trees, dig gold and coal illegally by causing great harms to the nature to earn little money will decrease.

At that time there will be two main issues to address which are mining sector and deforestation. It’s my thought, and please tell me what do you think about it?

It is worth trying to live differently. It doesn’t cost us much to donate 100 tugrug, but one day it will be a great contribution to our country.

Super again, this wind power station are reality today and we must find way and solution to make it possible for Ulaanbaatar, we would take care on that and asking you friends of nomadgreen to work with us close on that issue.
